PODCAST | Amsterdam Innovation Award Tips & Tricks

Wednesday, 10 January 2024

In this special episode, Robert Stelling, the director of Interclean, and Michelle Marshall, editor in chief of the European Cleaning Journal and chairwoman of the Amsterdam Innovation Award jury, discuss Tips & Tricks for entering the Amsterdam Innovation Award.

They discuss the unique aspects of the award, such as the independent jury composed of industry experts, and the process of online judging followed by in-person pitches in Amsterdam. Marshall emphasizes the importance of a well-crafted entry, detailing the story behind the innovation, its potential impact, and providing evidence to support the entry.

Well, I think I can't emphasize enough how important it is to spend time drafting your entry and to putting in a lot of thought about what the story is that you're telling us. Tell us about why you launched this product, what led you to develop the product, and then lead us through some evidence. Lead us through some facts and figures. Perhaps talk about the potential impact you feel your product will have... It's about bringing it to life, is what I would say, really summing up.
